How is it driving a stick shift in the snow and traffic?

i am planning to get a G-35 or G-37 coupe by the end of next year. i want to get it stick shift bcz i want to modify the car and get a better feel for it. BUT i am learning how to drive stick shift now to get some experience. where i live (Jersey) it snows and i go to NYC once in a while..so is it hard driving manual transmission in the snow and traffic....or do you get use to it?
