How does BJJ address knife attacks?

I don't think BJJ consists of knife defense unlike the original JJJ. BJJ is more consisted of ground game and pure submissions. In my personal opinion, it's better suited as a sport than defense. Sure it can be used as defense but it has many more flaws than the average martial art.
